Dr. Woody Dillehay, Principal

As a long-time resident of Tullahoma and product of the Tullahoma City School system, I feel honored to serve as Principal of East Middle School, where I was a student many years ago.  I am grateful for the educators that motivated and influenced me during my years as a student in Tullahoma City Schools.   My wish is that we continue to provide top-notch educational experiences for present and future generations of students.

I live in Tullahoma with my wife Ginger, son DJ, and our boxer bulldog Mac.  I have proudly served in the Tullahoma City School System as a teacher, coach, health coordinator, assistant principal, and principal.  I am currently in my 22nd year working in education and completed an earned doctorate from Tennessee State University in 2012.

I believe that educators can not only teach, but inspire students by helping them to develop a passion for learning that will serve them well through their future endeavors.  It is no secret that students benefit when educators and parents work together to provide the support and consistency necessary for excellent academic achievement.  I look forward to working with you regarding your child’s education.
